Everyone has heard AIGEL. Everyone is talking about AIGEL. And - fans in Helsinki will be the first ones to see (!) AIGEL live, for the first time since the unprecedented viral success of the band. The European tour starts in Finland on May 5th.
The electronic hip-hop band AIGEL’s history started in Russia back in 2016 with the video and single “Tatarin” (over 115 mln views on YouTube, Berlin Music Awards winner). Later, AIGEL’s video «You're born» won numerous awards at Cannes Lions festival, Berlin Commercial Festival, Berlin Music Awards and many more.

However, it was AIGEL’s song “Pyyala” that took the world by storm this winter. The song is in Tatar, the native language of AIGEL’s frontwoman Aigel Gaisina. “Pyyala” means glass, glass shard or glass bowl. The song topped Shazam world chart this winter and made it to the Top 20 of US TikTok Songs Chart, also ranking as high as it gets on Apple Music, Spotify, Yandex Muzyka and other platforms.

“Pyala” was the main theme for the soundtrack of the most popular Russian series this season, “Slovo Pacana” (The Boy’s Word). The frightening, dark scenes in the episodes are accompanied by the captivating soundtrack by AIGEL.

AIGEL, however, are not mentioned In the credits of The Boy’s Word – and for a reason. The group publicly condemned the illegal Russian invasion into Ukraine 2022 – they left their home country soon after that. Since that moment AIGEL is on the unofficial government’s list of the artists who are not allowed to perform in Russia.

Now AIGEL is heading for Helsinki, Finland – to launch their first European tour this year. And if there is only one concert you absolutely can’t miss this year – this is it!
